            Its a matter of great Pleasure that Dr. Rahul Vaze, tata Institute of fundamental Research Mumbai has kindly consented to talk on "Wireless communicaion" at our colg IPS College of Technology & Management on Friday Oct 15,2010.
            Dr. Rahul Vaze did his B.E. from MITS Gwalior, followed by M.E. in telecommunication from India Institute of Science, Bangalore and PhD from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, The university of Texas at Austin. He was with Beceem Communications Pvt Ltd. Bangalore where he worked on design of Physical Layer algorithms for IEEE 802.16e. He received the best M.E. thesis award from Electrical Communication Department, I.I.Sc. Bangalore.
             We humbly request you to kindly attend the seminar. The one day program includes technical sessions with high tea from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.  at Admin Block Seminar hall.

               Google’s social networking website Orkut has been attacked by malware called “Bom Sabado” on Saturday morning, which is a big treat for orkut . “Bom sabado” is a Portuguese world it means “Good Saturday” in English.
                    Bom Sabado is an orkut virus affecting profiles of many. Those who are affected by this virus are advised to change password and security question. Log out immediately and also clear the cookies and history.
                    Users are also advised not to open Orkut account until the problem solved. Orkut had just last month announced new updates to the website. It’s a second time Orkut got affected by this kind of viruses. The same virus has hit Orkut last Feb also.
                    A  few hours back, the Bom Sabado virus seems to have started and now it is all over orkut scraps that spreading from friend to friends. It is an auto generated message which is filing your scrapebooks. The scraps come from the friend list and it comes just like any other normal orkut scraps. Users are also advised not to open such scraps. The bug is hitting your cookies and automatically sending messages to your friend list.
                   If anyone reads this scrap even in their profile, their cookies are also stoled and so they are also posting scrap automatically to their friend list same scrap as bomb something like.
                  Orkut officials have not clear yet that the Bom Sabado is a virus or not. In week, this is a second XSS attack on a social networking website. The popular microblogging website Twitter was also attacked by a computer worm created by Norwegian. Twitter was received an XSS exploit, the attack, which emerged and was shut down within hours Tuesday morning and involved a XSS flaw that allowed users to run JavaScript programs on other computers.

• If you want to change password, use this link www.google.com/acounts/

Solutions:-

• Do not visit any profile on Orkut till this script is blocked
• Clear your cookies and cache right away and change your password and security question:

              It is raining jobs for IIM-Calcutta's class of 2009. It is not surprising to see such a high offering when the candidate is an investment banking student of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM). All of 290 students have been lapped up for the 10-week summer job stint that begins in April next year, a record of sorts for any IIM. A package of  8 lacks for summer job wooh.... not bad at all...
                                    Not only this in the year in 2006 IIMB students were placed with awsm packages , no doubt they have been breaking reords and that is why these are among the Best Management Institutes in the world.

                    During the history, sounds of nature, especially animal sounds, have been objects of imitation of tribal people (and even of devotion when they have been related to their belief systems). Even today imitation of nature sounds is used in many shamanic rituals and healing techniques.
                         Apart from that, sounds of nature have many positive effects on humans. Being in nature, surrounded by pure acoustics of the environment, gives a feeling of overwhelming calm that is hard to experience in urban surroundings. Probably that is related to a human brain which reacts positively when exposed to nature sounds. Actually, nature is our ancient environment, so the vibrations it produces in our brain with the frequencies of natural sounds are among most pleasurable states and feels a little like “returning home”. Being in nature, or listening to relaxing nature music can be a great stress relief for the brain, since it is basically coded and shaped in times deep in prehistory when human communities were living in the nature.
